Hello, my name is Dr. Steve Harris.  I will work compassionately with you to help you find your way towards more fulfilling relationships and a satisfying life.  I work with a broad variety of people who are trying to get un-stuck from areas in their lives that are not working. Freed from what is not working, you can get on with "What is right with you!" People frequently arrive at my office after reading self-help books, working hard to develop successful and healthy habits, exercising, changing their appetite and/or diet, taking medication (or refusing to), but find that these changes did not reach something deeper inside that seems to get in the way. They are usually smart people who know what to do, but in the “heat of the moment” all of the seemingly good tools, learning, and insights “go out the window” and an emotional reaction that sabotages the potential for success often intervenes. 

Depression, Anxiety, Complex PTSD (Borderline), Bipolar, Autism, ADD/ADHD, Addictions, Sexuality, and other issues can influence how someone adjusts to life's...
Do you want to have a relationship, but find that you are struggling with how to get more involved?  
Are able to start having a relationship, but find that you become afraid and begin interfering with getting close as the relationship progresses?
Do you find yourself behaving in irrational ways that actually get in the way with what you really want in situations or in a relationship?
